OUR STORY
from a hobby to real business...
Wheatley of Nottingham Ltd (T/A Simply Crackers) has been trading since 1982 manufacturing crackers for all occasions. The company was founded by Heather Wheatley who enjoyed making craft products to fulfil her spare time when the kids were at school. Soon the hobby became a business and the premises became too small.
With the demand growing for her products the limited company was born and trade picked up very quickly.
The company has now expanded its portfolio to new markets including Customised Wedding crackers and Branded Christmas crackers for Corporate Events.
We make crackers exclusively to some retailers too, with their unique packaging and gifts (Fortnum Mason, Paperchase, Selfridges etc)
All our crackers are handmade and manufactured in the UK. We only make Christmas crackers per specification and as per client's requirements. That makes every customer special to us. We work directly with them from design of artwork through to order details, gifts and the final delivery of crackers.
You can supply your design and gifts and we will make the crackers for you.
